Manu WorldStar: Warm Fuzzy Bridge

An EP about that initial connection you feel with someone who you hope will soon become your lover, needed a name and artwork to best represent that kind of excitement and expectation.

The idea was to lean into stereotypes around infatuation. The main one honed in on is this notion of the things we share in common that connect us; that act as a bridge that allows us to walk the journey that these warm fuzzy feelings are inviting us on. Manu’s characterization / cartoonifaction further emphasizes the suspension of reality - an all too common trait of infatuation. Lastly, Manu is a third culture kid and I wanted to bring that to the forefront by combining contrasting and sometimes opposing ideas into one new cohesive one.
